Puerto Rico is filled with caves. There are commercial caves to tour, or caves that you can go into without a guide if you choose. The most popular commercial cave is Camuy Caverns, which is less than an hour from San Antonio Country Estates. A motorized trolley descends from the visitors center to the mouth of the cave, where visitors depart on a tour of the massive cave system that was formed by the power of the underground river that becomes the Camuey River.
